The Power of Community: 28th - 29th September, 2024

from £128.00

Advanced Shamanic workshop

Held by Viktorija Orsic Muthig (Vice Director of the FSSE)

Community is part of who we are, one of the pillars of our lives and the focus of attention in shamanism. Shamans serve their community. They consult the spirits to identify, transfer and manifest power in ordinary reality in order to ensure the survival of the community.

Community means finding one’s place in a greater whole, being a part of it, and contributing to its success – as the ones we are and with our inherent power. Hence, community means belonging, embeddedness and feeling at home. Only fully empowered and responsible individuals can truly serve their communities.

Participants in this new workshop experience the power of community in diverse ways. Ongoing community building will be an essential part, as will the preparation and performance of ritual forms. These establish a safe framework that enables us to address relevant questions and work on concrete needs in the group. After all, facilitating the manifestation of spiritual power and shaping processes of change on behalf of the community have always been integral parts of the shaman’s repertoire.

The workshop “The Power of Community” addresses the following aspects of shamanic work in a practical way:

  • Recapitulating and practicing shamanic ways of power

  • Ongoing community building

  • Practically addressing questions and needs in the group of participants

  • Preparation and implementation of ritual forms

  • Shamans as servants of the community and facilitators of change

Prerequisite for participation is completion of the BASIC WORKSHOP “THE WAY OF THE SHAMAN®”.
