About Marta Niccolai
Marta is originally from Italy, from Pisa, in Tuscany, and UK resident since 1988. She has been living in London ever since. She has been on a spiritual path since her early 20s, at first practising Kundalini Yoga and meditation, with frequent trips to India where she spent some time in a Gandhian Ashram. She found her true spiritual home in Shamanism. Leading the FSS is a work in progress and ever evolving. Marta is passionate about teaching shamanism, and is keen to help students practice and consolidate what they learnt in a workshop. She is very interested in rituals as a means to encourage and implement change in our life.
Marta is also honorary lecturer at University College London, where she taught on Performance, Intercultural dialogue, films. She is currently interested in the interplay between spiritual practices and performance.
A keen environmentalist and animalist, she supports a number of organisations and she is actively involved in her local community.
